Interior Architecutre Design Intern

Part-time, Remote, Paid

Job Description:

The Interior Architecture Design Intern will be working directly with the principal designer and procurement manager in assisting with many aspects of residential interior design projects from concept to execution. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of the principal designer, architect or other professionals

  • Participate in the design process and develop 3D model, renderings, 2D drawings and/or graphic presentations used to communicate concepts to clients

  • Source and expand materials library and vendor relationships

  • Create and organize finishes spec and FF&E procurement list

  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualification:

  • Art, Architecture or Interior Design ducation

  • Experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)

  • Hands-on interior installation experience preferred

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Microsoft Office, Google Applications and other related space planning/rendering programs preferred

  • Strong artistic skills, including hand sketching, rendering capabilities preferred

  • Highly organized, attention to details and results-oriented

  • Collaborative and self-motivated

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills

  • Project management skill is a plus but not required

Compensation:

This will be a paid internship at around $15-20 per hour with a minimum of 8 hours commitment per week. The internship can potentially lead to a full-time position and offers sponsorship for international talents.
